A Wooden Deck Vanishes....Demo Day

This week I have a client who is undergoing a long awaited transformation - taking an underutilized, high maintenance wood deck and replacing it with a flagstone patio. The old deck will be removed and new flagstone and landscape beds will be added.

Today is demo/prep day and just removing the old deck makes a big difference in opening up the view from the house to the back yard. More pics to follow....


This is a great time of year to tackle a landscaping project. Often contractors are less busy with summer maintenance and can be scheduled more easily. Planting materials are on sale in a big way and fall is the perfect time to get new landscaping established.
